CCTV Technician

🧾 Job Description

We are hiring a skilled and experienced CCTV Technician who can independently handle site surveys, installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance for residential, commercial, and small enterprise projects.

This role is for hands-on technicians, not helpers or trainees.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

🎥 CCTV Installation & Maintenance

Install IP & Analog CCTV systems (Hikvision, CP Plus, Dahua or equivalent)

Camera mounting (indoor & outdoor), proper angle & focus

DVR/NVR configuration, HDD installation

Remote viewing setup (mobile & PC)

Cable testing, fault identification & rectification

🌐 Networking & Cabling

Structured cabling (CAT6 / CAT5e)

RJ45 crimping, testing & labeling

Switch & router basic configuration

Network troubleshooting (IP conflicts, connectivity issues)

🛠 Service & Troubleshooting

Diagnose camera, power, cable, and network issues

Attend breakdown calls and AMC sites

Replace faulty equipment and coordinate warranty cases

Ensure clean, professional finishing at sites

📋 Coordination & Reporting

Coordinate with office for job details

Update work status after site completion

Guide junior technicians/helpers if required

🎯 Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 2–5 years experience in CCTV installation & service

Strong knowledge of IP cameras, NVRs, networking basics

Able to work independently without supervision

Comfortable with ladders, outdoor work, and site conditions

Good problem-solving and customer-handling skills

🧠 Preferred (Added Advantage)

Experience in Biometric systems / Access Control

Basic IT knowledge (Windows, LAN sharing, routers)

Two-wheeler with license

⏰ Working Hours

9:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Sunday off (or rotational, if required)

💰 Salary & Benefits

₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on skill & experience)
