Chemist

The job of chemist involves the synthesis of organic compounds. They are involved in a wide range of tasks, including:

Synthesis: Designing and conducting experiments to synthesize organic compounds with specific properties.

Characterization: Analysing and identifying the structure and properties of organic compounds using a variety of techniques such distillation, crystallisation , titration as well as spectroscopy and chromatography.

Purification: Developing and using techniques to purify and isolate specific organic compounds.

Testing: Conducting experiments to evaluate the properties and behavior of organic compounds, including their reactivity.

Research and Development: Designing and carrying out experiments to develop new methods for synthesizing and characterizing organic compounds.

Report Writing: Documenting their findings and prepare reports.

They must be skilled in laboratory techniques and have a strong understanding of organic chemistry principles. They must also be able to communicate their findings effectively to both scientific and non-scientific audiences.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

To plan experiments based on the assigned work by the in charge head

To write technical reports on the work done by him

Maintain lab equipments and trouble shoot on the short coming of the process

To refine the compounds based on its quality
