Job Description
- Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze RCC structures including:
- Foundations, footings
- Columns, beams, slabs
- Staircases and retaining walls
- Perform load calculations (dead, live, wind, seismic)
- Prepare and review:
- Structural design calculations
- Design reports
- Structural drawings in coordination with drawing engineers
- Optimize structural systems for economy and constructability
- Ensure designs comply with IS codes, NBC, and local bylaws
- Coordinate with:
- Architects for layout compatibility
- MEP teams for service openings
- Site engineers for execution feasibility
- Provide design support during construction
- Review site issues and issue revised drawings if required
- Technical Skills RequiredStructural analysis & design concepts (RCC & basic steel)
- Proficiency in:
- ETABS / STAAD / SAFE
- AutoCAD (for review & coordination)
- Strong understanding of:
- IS 456, IS 875, IS 1893
- Soil bearing capacity & foundation design
- Basic knowledge of BOQs & material optimization
- QualificationsB.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- M.E / M.Tech (Structural) – preferred for senior roles
- Experience2–5 years – Mid-level Design Engineer
