Civil Site Engineer

Job Title: Junior Civil Engineer – High Rise Residential Project (G+12)

Qualification: Graduate or Post-Graduate in Civil Engineering (B.Tech / BE / M.Tech / ME / Diploma may apply if required)

Location: Kollur, Hyderabad (Project Site)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Civil Engineer to manage the day-to-day site activities of a G+12 residential complex on behalf of the builder. The role involves coordinating with consultants, contractors, supervising construction work, ensuring quality standards, preparing daily progress reports, and updating the builder regularly.

Key Responsibilities

Site Execution & Supervision

• Oversee daily construction activities at the site.
• Supervise work execution of structural, finishing, masonry, shuttering, reinforcement, and concrete works.
• Ensure adherence to project drawings, specifications, and timelines.

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with project consultants, architects, and engineers.
• Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and site teams.
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings and work planning with contractors.

Quality & Safety Monitoring

• Inspect material quality and workmanship.
• Monitor concrete pouring, curing, alignment, leveling, and finishing.
• Ensure quality checks for reinforcement, formwork, and cube testing.
• Report quality deviations and ensure corrective actions.
• Support implementation of safety measures at the site.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare and submit Daily Progress Reports (DPR) to the builder.
• Systematically report site issues, delays, and risks.
• Maintain site records, checklists, test reports, and photo documentation.
• Track and report contractor productivity and material consumption.

Compliance & Monitoring

• Ensure compliance with RERA, municipal and engineering standards.
• Verify contractor bills with respect to work completed at the site.
• Support project planning and scheduling tasks.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of high-rise residential construction processes.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of quality standards, testing procedures, and site checklists.
• Basic knowledge of project scheduling and reporting tools (Excel, MS Project is an added advantage).
• Ability to handle site challenges and multitask efficiently.

• Responsible, disciplined, and proactive in site management.
• Ability to report progress and issues clearly and timely to the builder.
• Willingness to work full-time at the project site in Kollur.

Working Conditions

• 6 days a week (Site-based role)
• Must be available during critical construction activities.
