Civil Site Engineer

Site Supervision: Manage day-to-day construction activities on-site, ensuring that all work is executed as per approved plans, structural drawings, and design specifications.

Labour Mobilization & Management: Efficiently mobilize, allocate, and supervise labor including masons, plumbers, electricians, centering workers, and helpers. Ensure optimum workforce utilization and monitor their productivity.

Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality in all aspects of construction including concrete works, brickwork, plastering, waterproofing, plumbing, electrical installations, and finishing work.

Project Scheduling & Timely Completion: Develop and adhere to detailed construction schedules. Monitor progress against set milestones, identify delays, and implement corrective actions to ensure timely completion of each project phase and final handover.

Progress Monitoring: Track and report on daily and weekly progress. Identify potential delays or issues early and escalate or resolve them promptly to stay on schedule.

Coordination with Contractors & Vendors: Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for timely availability of materials, tools, and manpower. Ensure work is synchronized among different trades.

Safety Compliance: Ensure safety measures and site regulations are strictly followed by all personnel. Conduct tool-box talks and regular safety checks to minimize site accidents.

Material Management: Monitor material usage and minimize wastage. Coordinate with the purchase department for timely supply of materials as per the requirement.

Technical Problem Solving: Address and resolve technical and operational issues on-site. Provide guidance and clarification to labor teams and junior staff.

Inspection & Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship and quality standards are maintained. Prepare snag lists and follow up for rectifications.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain daily work logs, material consumption records, manpower deployment sheets, and site inspection reports. Submit regular updates to the Project Manager.

Client & Consultant Interaction: Coordinate with clients, architects, and consultants during site visits and inspections. Implement feedback and instructions promptly.

Site Housekeeping: Ensure the site is clean, organized, and safe for all personnel, including proper storage of tools, equipment, and materials.
