CNC Programmer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced CNC Operators who can independently set up, operate, and programusing Fanuc or similar controls. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of engineering drawings, tooling selection, machining processes, and dimensional accuracy.

• Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC Lathe machines as per production requirements.
• Create new programs and modify existing programs using Fanuc / G-code / M-code / CAM software.
• Perform job setting, tool offset, and work offset adjustments.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and machining tolerances.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, and fixtures for different materials.
• Perform first-piece inspection and ensure precision using micrometer, Vernier caliper, bore gauge, height gauge, etc.
• Monitor machine output and ensure the quality & surface finish of machined components.
• Troubleshoot machining and operational issues to reduce downtime.
• Maintain documentation of daily production and program history.
• Follow safety procedures, housekeeping (5S), and routine machine maintenance.
• Skills & Qualifications:ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Machinist / Tool & Die or related trade.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in CNC Lathe operation and programming.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Fanuc control systems.
• Solid understanding of G-code & M-code programming, tool geometry, cutting speeds, and feeds.
• Ability to work on tight tolerances and critical components.
• Practical knowledge of production machining for different metals (MS, SS, Aluminum, etc.)
• Preferred Attributes:Experience in high-precision / mass production environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime depending on production volume.
• Good problem-solving and productivity-focused mindset.
