Job TitleContinental Commis / Continental Chef de Partie (CDP)

Location: Hyderabad

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹35,000 per month + Service Charge (as per hotel policy)

Joining: Immediate only

Attendance: Full-time, restaurant/hotel kitchen

About the RoleYou will be part of the continental kitchen, supporting menu execution, maintaining quality and hygiene standards, and ensuring smooth daily operations during service.

  • Key Responsibilities – Continental CommisAssist CDP/Head Chef in preparation and cooking of continental dishes (starters, mains, grills, pasta, salads, sauces).
  • Handle mise en place: cutting, chopping, marination, basic sauces and salads as per standard recipes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene at your workstation, follow FSSAI/food safety norms.
  • Proper storage, labeling, and rotation of food (FIFO), avoid wastage.
  • Support in plating and food presentation as per restaurant standards.
  • Assist in receiving and organizing daily supplies and inventory.
  • Key Responsibilities – Continental CDPIndependently manage a continental section (grill, veg/non-veg, pasta, bakery as applicable) during service.
  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes consistently as per SOPs and portion standards.
  • Guide and train commis and helpers on basic prep, hygiene, and presentation.
  • Coordinate with Head Chef/Sous Chef on daily prep, specials, and stock requirements.
  • Ensure station cleanliness, equipment upkeep, and adherence to all safety and hygiene standards.
  • RequirementsExperience in continental kitchen in hotels, fine-dine, or high-volume restaurants (Hyderabad experience preferred).
  • For Commis: 1–3 years of experience; for CDP: 3–6 years handling a continental section.
  • Good knowledge of sauces, grills, pasta, salads, and international platings.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment, flexible with shifts, weekends, and festivals.
  • Behavioural FitPassionate about cooking and learning new dishes.
  • Punctual, disciplined, and maintains high standards of personal and kitchen hygiene.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and ability to take instructions from seniors
