Job Summary
IIHM Hyderabad is seeking a dynamic and passionate Communication Faculty to develop students’ communication, personality, and professional grooming skills in line with global hospitality standards. The role focuses on enhancing students’ confidence, language proficiency, and industry-ready behavior.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching & Training
Deliver engaging sessions in:
English Communication (spoken & written)
PDP (Personality Development Programme)
Professional Etiquettes (social & dining)
Grooming Standards (personal & professional)
Design lesson plans aligned with hospitality industry expectations
Conduct interactive activities like role plays, presentations, and mock interviews
2. Student Development
Build students’ confidence, public speaking, and interpersonal skills
Train students for campus placements & interviews
Provide individual feedback and mentoring
Conduct soft skills workshops and personality enhancement sessions
3. Curriculum & Content Development
Develop training modules, presentations, and assessment tools
Update curriculum based on current hospitality and corporate trends
Integrate real-life hospitality scenarios into teaching
4. Assessment & Evaluation
Evaluate students through:
Presentations
Group discussions
Viva and practical assessments
Track student progress and maintain academic records
5. Industry Alignment
Incorporate global hospitality standards in grooming and etiquette
Prepare students for international exposure and placements
Coordinate with placement and academic teams
Required Qualifications
Master’s Degree in English / Communication / HR / Hospitality / Related Field
Certification in Soft Skills / Personality Development (preferred)
Experience
2–5 years of teaching or corporate training experience
Experience in hospitality training or finishing schools is an added advantage
Key Skills
Excellent spoken and written English
Strong presentation and facilitation skills
Knowledge of corporate etiquette and grooming standards
Ability to inspire and engage students
Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills
Preferred Profile
Background in Hospitality / Aviation / Training Industry
Exposure to international communication standards
Confident, well-groomed, and professional personality
Additional Responsibilities
