Job Description
- Install, assemble, and configure desktop, laptop, server, and peripheral hardware
- Diagnose and repair hardware issues (motherboard, RAM, HDD/SSD, SMPS, display, ports, etc.)
- Perform OS installation (Windows/Linux), drivers, and basic software setup
- Handle preventive maintenance to reduce system failures
- Install and troubleshoot printers, scanners, UPS, and networking devices
- Configure and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, and basic cabling
- Replace faulty components and upgrade systems as required
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to users
- Maintain service reports, inventory, and AMC records
- Ensure data backup and basic security during repair or replacement
- Coordinate with vendors for warranty and spare parts
- Follow safety standards and company IT policies
- CCTV installation & troubleshooting
- Basic server & Active Directory knowledge
- Laptop chip-level troubleshooting (if applicable)
