Job Title: Construction Project Coordinator

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Construction Project Coordinator with expertise in computer knowledge, AutoCAD, construction practices, designing, project management, scheduling, budgeting, and proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in facilitating the seamless execution of construction projects from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Design:
  • Utilize AutoCAD and other design tools to create and modify project plans and blueprints.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers in the design phase to ensure accurate project development.
  1. Construction Knowledge:
  • Apply in-depth understanding of construction processes, materials, and methodologies.
  • Assist in overseeing the construction phase, ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  1. Project Management:
  • Support project managers in developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and timelines.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues that may arise during construction.
  1. Budgeting:
  • Assist in developing project budgets, including cost estimates and resource allocation.
  • Track project expenses and contribute to maintaining adherence to budget constraints.
  1. Scheduling:
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
  • Coordinate and schedule construction activities to optimize workflow and meet project deadlines.
  1. MS Excel and MS Word:
  • Proficiently use MS Excel for budget tracking, financial analysis, and data management.
  • Create and update project documentation using MS Word, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  1. Communication:
  • Effectively communicate with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, issues, and solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project goals and expectations are met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a construction project coordination or similar role.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Word.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
