About the Role:

The CoLAB Producer is a key contributor within Amgen’s centralized content production model, acting as the primary operational and creative liaison between Amgen brand teams, matrix partners, and CoLAB freelance creators. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end production of compliant marketing, clinical, and training assets, ensuring alignment with Amgen brand standards, file specifications, and Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) requirements. Success in this role requires strong project management discipline, deep familiarity with Amgen’s compliance-driven workflows, and the ability to operate effectively within a global, matrixed organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact between Amgen brand teams, Global Marketing, GCC partners, and CoLAB freelance creators, ensuring clear, timely, and consistent communication.
• Manage the full lifecycle of CoLAB creative requests, developing project plans, defining milestones and review dates, tracking progress, and keeping stakeholders informed.
• Oversee the delivery of creative assets from internal and external teams, ensuring accuracy, creative integrity, and adherence to timelines.
• Onboard and guide new designers on file standards, submission requirements, and best practices.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with Brand Marketers and Amgen matrix teams to support evolving project needs and strengthen CoLAB engagement.
• Continuously refine and update process documentation and standards, staying informed of industry best practices and delivery requirements across multiple channels.
• Prepare materials for client MLR review, including accurate annotation and timely submission of clinical, promotional, and training content.
• Conduct proofreading and creative quality assurance during MLR submissions, verifying reference alignment and adherence to Amgen’s medical communications style guide.
• Partner with brand regulatory teams to ensure compliance with MLR guidelines, annotation styles, and review timelines.
• Deliver final approved creative files to designated distributors, archive assets within Veeva, and complete reporting documentation for CoLAB tracking.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) HTML and Google Studio or modular content frameworks preferred.
• Experience with project management tools such as Airtable and Workfront, with the ability to follow Amgen’s project management protocols.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to thrive in a global, matrixed team environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and proactive problem-solving in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
• Applies deep understanding of compliance-driven operations and documentation standards to ensure quality and audit readiness.
