Position Summary
As an SAP IBP Team Lead, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions across global supply chain planning initiatives. You will manage end to end project and support activities, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure delivery excellence across all phases of the project lifecycle.
You will translate complex business requirements into scalable IBP solution designs, oversee configuration and integration tasks, drive testing cycles, and mentor junior consultants. This role will also involve solution architecture alignment, data and planning model optimization, and continuous improvement of planning processes.

Work You ll Do
As an SAP IBP Lead, you will be responsible for:
Leading SAP IBP implementation and support engagements
Gathering and analyzing business requirements from clients
Performing Fit-Gap Analysis and identifying enhancements
Designing, configuring, and implementing SAP IBP modules:
IBP Demand
Designing and documenting functional specifications
Setting up Planning Areas, Key Figures, Time Profiles, Attributes, Master Data Types
Managing integration with:
SAP S/4HANA
CI DS
Overseeing Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, Regression Testing
Leading Cutover, Go Live, and Hyper care support activities
Driving demand planning performance improvements
Optimizing forecasting models and planning operators
Managing client communication and stakeholder alignment
Mentoring junior team members and ensuring delivery excellence

Qualifications
Must Have Skills
6–10 years of hands-on SAP supply chain planning experience
4+ years of deep experience in SAP IBP configuration
Strong functional knowledge of:
o Demand Planning
o Supply Planning
o S&OP
o Inventory Optimization
o Control Tower
Hands-on IBP configuration skills:
o Planning Areas
o Key Figures
o Master Data
o Time Profiles
o Planning Operators
o Forecasting Models
Strong understanding of end-to-end planning processes (Demand Supply S&OP)
Experience with:
o SAP HANA architecture
o CI DS integration
o Custom key figure calculations
o IBP Excel UI
o Data migration and data cleansing
Experience with S/4HANA MRP and integration

Leadership Skills
Experience leading teams in global delivery models
Strong stakeholder and client management skills
Ability to manage estimations, planning, and delivery tracking
Experience in leading workshops, status reviews, and governance meetings

Education
BE / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc (CS) or equivalent degree from an accredited university
