JOB SUMMARY:
Seeking a ETL Engineer to support the development and maintenance of data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Snowflake.
This role supports enterprise analytics, Customer 360, and AI-enabled use cases under the guidance of senior engineers and architects.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
ETL / ELT Development Support
Assist in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
Support ingestion of data from files, databases, and APIs into Snowflake.
Implement basic transformation logic using Snowflake SQL as directed.
Follow established patterns for pipeline development and deployment.
Data Modeling & Transformation Support
Support implementation of data models defined by senior engineers.
Assist with standardization, cleansing, and enrichment steps.
Participate in implementing historical data handling and audit logic.
Snowflake Development Support
Create and maintain Snowflake objects such as tables, views, and schemas.
Execute and validate SQL scripts for data loading and transformation.
Assist with performance validation and tuning activities.
Data Quality & Validation
Support data validation and reconciliation activities.
Collaborate with QA engineers to troubleshoot data issues.
Assist with pipeline failure analysis and data discrepancy resolution.
Delivery & Collaboration
Execute assigned tasks within sprint timelines.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and technical walkthroughs.
Maintain basic technical documentation.
Learn and apply best practices for ETL, ELT, and cloud data platforms.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Technical Skills
1–3 years of ETL/data engineering experience.
Hands-on exposure to Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Basic working knowledge of Snowflake.
Fundamental SQL skills for data querying and validation.
Understanding of ETL vs. ELT, warehousing fundamentals, and batch processing.
Familiarity with Git or similar version control tools.
Experience in Agile environments.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Exposure to Azure Blob Storage or Data Lake.
Basic Python for data scripting.
Awareness of Data Vault methodology.
Experience supporting analytics or Customer 360 use cases.
Relevant cloud/data certifications (Azure or Snowflake fundamentals).
Soft Skills
Strong willingness to learn and grow in data engineering.
Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Ability to follow established patterns and guidance.
Clear communication and collaboration skills.
Consulting or large-scale transformation background.
