Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve coding, enhancing components, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions using modern frameworks and agile practices. You will be responsible for understanding the requirements and translating them into effective software designs, while also ensuring that the solutions are robust and efficient. SAP ABAP Developer to deliver technical solutions across SRM, ECC, Finance, and HR. The role requires strong ABAP skills and solid integration experience within a classic ECC 6.0 landscape.

Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and enhance solutions in SRM, ECC, Finance, and HR modules.
Build and support ABAP objects: OO ABAP, Enhancements/BAdIs, User Exits, RFC/BAPI, IDocs.
Develop integrations using ESR-based ABAP proxies, Web Services, and 3rd party interface setups.
Collaborate with functional teams (SRM, FI, HR, MM) to translate requirements into technical designs.
Resolve incidents, performance issues, and regression defects.
Produce required technical specifications and maintain coding standards.

Professional & Technical Skills:
Strong SAP ABAP and OO ABAP experience (ECC 6.0).
Exposure to SRM, FI/CO, HR, and core ECC processes.
Extensive knowledge of ESR-based ABAP proxies.
Experience with Web Services.
Integration experience with 3rd party systems in ECC 6.0.
Basic knowledge of MM and Procurement.
Solid understanding of IDoc/ALE and SAP Forms (Smart Forms/Adobe)
OData experience. Workflow troubleshooting.
ESS/MSS module knowledge. Strong debugging and analytical abilities.
Direct communicator able to simplify requirements.
Works independently and delivers efficiently.


Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
