The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Manager who can lead end-to-end solution delivery across the Salesforce ecosystem. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong capabilities in Salesforce architecture, solution design, technical leadership, and project management. The ideal candidate will guide development teams, work closely with business stakeholders, and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce implementations across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom applications.
Your Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Technical Leadership
- Lead the technical design and architecture for Salesforce solutions including
- Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Flows, integrations, and data models.
- Define scalable architecture patterns, guardrails, coding standards, and bestpractices across Salesforce orgs.
- Perform technical design reviews, code reviews, and ensure solutions adhere togovernor limits, security, and platform constraints.
- Evaluate and recommend Salesforce products, AppExchange tools, andintegration frameworks.
Delivery & Project Management
- Own Salesforce project delivery lifecycle including requirements, solutioning,sprint planning, development, QA, and deployment.
- Collaborate with business SMEs, product owners, and cross-functional teams totranslate requirements into technical solutions.
- Oversee release management, environment strategy, DevOps pipelines, andchange management processes.
- Manage project risks, dependencies, budget, stakeholders, and releasetimelines.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Lead, mentor, and support Salesforce developers, admins, consultants, and QAengineers.
- Conduct technical capability assessments and drive continuous learning inareas like Apex, LWC, integrations, and Salesforce certifications.
- Guide junior team members on troubleshooting, performance tuning, designdecisions, and platform best practices.
Business & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the technical liaison between business teams and the engineering team.
- Run design workshops, solution walkthroughs, and architecture discussionswith customers/stakeholders.
- Support pre-sales, effort estimation, solution demonstrations, and projectscoping.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure high-quality documentation for architecture, integrations, data flows, andtechnical builds.
- Drive improvement initiatives around DevOps, CI/CD, testing automation, andorg optimization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, andintegration failures.
- Maintain compliance with Salesforce security, data governance, andarchitectural guidelines.
Skills and attributes for success
- 8–15 years of overall IT experience with a minimum of 5+ years leading
- Salesforce projects.
- Deep technical expertise in:
- Apex, Triggers, SOQL/SOSL
- Lightning Web Components (LWC) & Aura
- Flows, Process Builder (retirement-ready), and declarative tools
- Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP), Platform Events, Integration Patterns
- Data modeling, large datasets, and performance optimization
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, multi-org strategy, governorlimits, sharing/security model, and deployment processes.
- Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, andideally field service or CPQ.
- Strong experience with Agile/Scrum, backlog management, user stories, andsprint planning.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, documentation, andleadership skills.
Preferred Certifications
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect (highlypreferred)
- Salesforce Administrator / Advanced Administrator
- Project management certifications (PMP, CSM, SAFe) are an added advantage.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Copado, Gearset, Azure DevOps, Git).
- Experience working with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, orKafka.
- Experience managing multi-cloud Salesforce implementations.
- Exposure to enterprise integration patterns, security standards, SSO, OAuth, and Identity.
- Experience guiding org consolidation, technical debt remediation, andmodernization initiatives.
