Data Entry Operator – Job Description


Department: Data Entry / Back Office

Location: Hyderabad 


Job Summary


We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Operator to accurately enter, update, and manage data in company systems. The role involves maintaining high data accuracy, ensuring timely updates, and supporting business operations with reliable information. 


Key Responsibilities

• Enter and update data in company databases, CRM, and internal systems

• Verify and cross-check data for accuracy and completeness

• Maintain and organize digital and physical records

• Prepare and sort documents before data entry

• Identify data errors and correct inconsistencies

• Generate reports and summaries for management

• Ensure data confidentiality

• Perform regular backups and maintain data security

• Coordinate with internal teams for data-related updates

• Meet daily/weekly productivity and accuracy targets


Data entry operators mainly focus on accurate input, verification, and maintenance of records to ensure smooth business operations. 


Required Skills

• Good typing speed with high accuracy

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and databases

• Strong attention to detail

• Organizational and time management skills

• Ability to handle repetitive tasks efficiently

• Basic communication skills


Qualifications

• Minimum: Intermediate / Any Graduate

• 0–2 years experience (ONLY EXPERIENCED)

• Basic computer knowledge is mandatory

Typing test minimum 35wpm is mandatory

• Experience in data entry tools

• Knowledge of data validation and reporting

• Ability to work under deadlines
