Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any issues that arise. You will work closely with team members to ensure that the databases are functioning efficiently and securely, while also contributing to the overall improvement of database processes and practices. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Monitor database performance and implement necessary optimizations. - Collaborate with development teams to support database-related needs. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server. - Strong understanding of database design principles and best practices. - Experience with database backup and recovery strategies. - Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques. - Knowledge of security protocols and data protection measures. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
