Summary:
As a Database Administrator, your typical day involves designing, implementing, and maintaining database systems to ensure their optimal performance and reliability. You will be responsible for installing database management systems and developing procedures that support daily maintenance activities and efficient problem resolution. Your role requires continuous monitoring and fine-tuning of databases to meet organizational needs, while collaborating with various teams to support data integrity and availability throughout the business operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Monitor database performance and implement changes to improve efficiency and security.
- Develop and document database policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in database-related tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute database upgrades and migrations.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in MongoDB Administration.
- Experience in database backup and recovery techniques to ensure data safety and availability.
- Strong knowledge of database security practices and user access management.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues effectively.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation to streamline database maintenance tasks.
- Understanding of data replication and clustering concepts to support high availability.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in MongoDB Administration.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
