Job Summary -

A mid-senior level Mainframe lead with 4 to 6 years of hands on experienced on COBOL Programming, JCL and DB2 Coding and processing, to deliver a critical project for one of our biggest client in banking domain. The Individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in developing and managing cutting edge technology applications.

Years of experience needed –   

Candidate experience – 4 to 6 years

Technical Skills:

 An excellent techie with strong hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL and DB2 knowledge.

 Preferably, good exposure to Mainframe to distributed migration project.

 A master of DB2

 Should have good analytical and development skill on Cobol programming and JCL

 Capable of analyzing requirements and develop software as per project defined software process

 Develop and peer review of LLD (Initiate/ participate in peer reviews)

 Should have good writing and verbal communication skills

Process Skills:

 Oversee the technical aspects of the project, including software design, architecture, and integration points

 Collaborate with all the respective stakeholders and act as the primary point of contact between the client and the project team, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements

 Help the planning and execution of technical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget

 Setting up of processes and metrics dashboards in JIRA

 Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular status updates to stakeholders

 Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards

 Experience in Agile-Scrum/Kanban is highly desirable

Behavioral Skills :

 Resolve technical issues of projects and explore alternate designs

 Manage team and resolve conflicts if any

 Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project.

 Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction

 Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity.

Certification Needed

 Education qualification: B.Tech, BE, BCA, MCA, M. Tech or equivalent technical degree from a reputed college
