Job Summary :

The Dental Assistant supports the dentist during patient care, helps maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, and ensures patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental procedures. This role is essential to delivering efficient, high-quality dental care.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
• Take and develop dental X-rays (if certified)
• Prepare and handle dental materials (impressions, fillings, sealants, etc.)
• Suction and pass instruments during procedures
• Record patient information and treatment notes
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed
• Manage dental supplies and inventory
• Schedule appointments and assist with front-desk duties as needed
• Qualifications & SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent
• Dental Assistant certification or diploma (required or preferred, depending on location)
• X-ray certification (if applicable)
