This role will play a pivotal part in enabling that vision by leading mission-critical IT functions and teams.Position OverviewThis leadership role provides strategic direction and oversees a high-performing team of technical professionals responsible for the design, development, testing, implementation, and monitoring of software and technology solutions. The role acts as a subject matter expert, driving product implementation, evaluating IT vendor solutions, and aligning technology initiatives with business goals. It also encompasses end-to-end program management responsibilities, from planning through execution and delivery.The role will also lead cross-functional teams, reinforce cybersecurity practices, manage vendor partnerships, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & People ManagementLead, mentor, and manage a global team of technical staff; provide coaching, performance evaluation, and career development support.Make strategic hiring and compensation decisions in alignment with EY's HR policies.Foster a high-performance culture that encourages innovation and accountability.Strategic IT Planning & ExecutionOwn the full lifecycle of software delivery for business-critical products, including vendor selection and system implementation.Translate business needs into executable project roadmaps and technical specifications.Develop and execute short- and long-term department goals that align with overall business strategy.Operations & Delivery OversightPlan, execute, and monitor IT projects ensuring alignment with business priorities and strategic goals.Develop comprehensive project plans, allocate resources efficiently, and manage budgets for optimal outcomes.Track key performance metrics and implement continuous improvements in service delivery and operational processes.Cybersecurity & Risk ManagementIntegrate cybersecurity best practices into project frameworks to safeguard enterprise data and infrastructure.Identify potential risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.Stakeholder Engagement & CommunicationMaintain strong relationships with business leaders and key stakeholders to drive collaboration and shared ownership of outcomes.Provide regular project updates and strategic insights to senior leadership and relevant governance bodies.Vendor & Partner ManagementManage third-party service providers and technology vendors, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and contractual obligations.Lead build-versus-buy assessments and develop integration strategies for new technologies.
