Educational Counsellor

Job Summary: The Senior Education Counsellor will be responsible for guiding prospective students in choosing the right courses, handling end-to-end admission processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Student Counselling & Admissions Counsel prospective students and parents via phone, walk-ins, and online inquiries.

• Understand student needs, career goals, and recommend appropriate courses.
• Provide complete information about programs, fees, curriculum, and career outcomes.
• Ensure a smooth admission process from inquiry to enrollment.
• Conduct follow-ups with leads to achieve monthly admission targets.

2. Lead Management & Conversion Handle inbound/outbound calls, WhatsApp, and email inquiries professionally.

• Maintain lead records in CRM and ensure timely follow-up.
• Achieve conversion targets and contribute to center-level admission goals.

3. Student Relationship Management:- Build positive relationships with students throughout their learning cycle.

4. Reporting & Coordination :-Prepare daily/weekly admission reports and performance metrics.

• Collaborate with faculty, operations, and marketing teams for smooth functioning.
• Provide management with feedback on market trends, competition, and student needs.

Required Qualifications & Skills:- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Education Counsellor or similar role.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of achieving sales/admission targets.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple responsibilities.
• Good knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office.
• Pleasant personality, patience, and problem-solving ability.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience in EdTech or training institutes (IT/non-IT domains).

• Ability to mentor teams and handle escalations effectively.
• Strong understanding of student career paths and industry trends.
