Electrical Design Engineer

Job Role: Design Engineer

Experience

* Minimum 4 years in electrical contracting, panel design, or project execution.

Key Responsibilities

* Design & Drafting• Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and General Arrangement (GA) drawings for HT & LT panels.

* Ensure compliance with electrical standards and client specifications.

* Documentation & Commercials• Prepare, review, and interpret Purchase Orders (POs), Work Orders (W/Os), and quotations.

* Maintain accuracy and transparency in all project-related documentation.

* Coordination & Execution• Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors for material procurement and timely delivery.

* Coordinate with site supervisors to oversee installation, commissioning, and quality checks.

* Resolve technical and logistical challenges during project execution.

* Financial & Project Management• Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability.

* Provide periodic updates on expenditures, margins, and compliance.

Desired Skills

* Strong knowledge of HT & LT electrical systems and panel design.

* Proficiency in AutoCAD / EPLAN / similar design tools.

* Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and safety practices.

* Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.

* Ability to balance technical execution with financial discipline.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

* Proven track record of 4+ years in electrical projects, preferably in HT/LT panel design.
