Electrical Site Engineer

The Electrical Engineer / Site Supervisor will be responsible for supervising electrical installation works, coordinating with project teams, ensuring quality execution, maintaining safety standards, and completing projects within timelines and budgets.

The role involves handling site activities related to electrical wiring, switchgear installations, panel boards, and cable laying.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Supervision

Supervise day-to-day electrical works at project sites.

Monitor installation of wiring, conduits, cable trays, panels, switchgear, lighting and earthing systems.

Ensure work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and standards.

2. Project Coordination

Coordinate with project managers, contractors, architects, and clients.

Plan manpower, materials, and site activities for smooth project execution.

Maintain daily progress reports and work schedules.

4. Material & Inventory Management

Prepare material requirement lists and coordinate procurement.

Maintain site reports, measurement sheets, and completion reports.

Assist in preparing BOQs, project documentation, and as-built drawings.

Required Qualifications

Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Electrical Engineering.

2–3 years experience in electrical project execution or site supervision.

Knowledge of electrical systems, panels, wiring, and cable installations.

Preferred Skills

Ability to read electrical drawings and BOQs.

Strong site management and team coordination skills.

Knowledge of electrical standards and safety practices.

Basic computer skills (Excel, AutoCAD preferred).

Experience in Commercial and residential electrical projects, Electrical panel installation, Cable laying and termination, Lighting and power distribution systems
