Electrician

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrician to handle installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in our manufacturing plant. The role requires troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and ensuring minimal downtime of machinery and utilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, control systems, motors, and machinery.

Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical panels, distribution boards, and production equipment.

Diagnose electrical malfunctions using test equipment and hand tools.

Ensure all electrical systems comply with safety standards and company policies.

Assist in installation of new machines and support during equipment commissioning.

Maintain records of electrical maintenance and repair activities.

Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and reduce equipment downtime.

Work closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth plant operations.

Monitor power consumption and suggest energy-efficient solutions.

Ensure proper grounding, cabling, and insulation as per standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

ITI / Diploma in Electrical or related field.

Minimum 5+ years of experience as an electrician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Good knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, control panels, and PLC basics (added advantage).

Ability to read electrical drawings and circuit diagrams.

Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintenance.

Strong commitment to safety and preventive maintenance.

Physically fit and willing to work in shifts if required.
