Electronics Technician

Technician – Electronics

Core Function:

Carry out all activities related to semi-assembly production as directed by the Production Engineer. This includes handling, assembling, testing, and maintaining all electronic parts and products made by Futuristic Labs.

1. Key Responsibilities

Quality Checks

• Inspect all incoming electronic parts to ensure good quality.
• Report any defective or damaged items immediately.

Material Handling & Stock Management

• Move and handle materials safely.
• Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory when materials are received or used.

Assembly & Testing

• Assemble products manually as per given instructions or SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
• Perform testing to ensure products work correctly.
• Typical assembly work includes:
• Adhesion (gluing parts)
• Screwing and tightening parts
• Soldering wires and components
• Measuring and checking with a multimeter, etc.

Production Targets

• Meet weekly and monthly production targets as assigned.
• Maintain good speed and accuracy during work.

Documentation & Reports

• Fill in the inspection and QC reports properly.
• Maintain all material handling and stock documents as instructed by the Production Manager.

Workplace Organization (5S)

• Keep your tools, materials, and workstation neat, clean, and organized.
• Ensure all items are stored in the right place.

Standard Procedures

• Follow all SOPs, work instructions, and checklists during assembly and testing.
• Ensure safe working practices at all times.

Tools & Equipment Maintenance

• Take care of all tools and machines used for assembly.
• Report and help in repair or maintenance when needed.

Fabrication Work

• Support in small fabrication tasks like drilling, painting, welding, and cutting as needed.
