Job Description

Strategic leadership role in shaping and executing the enterprise technology architecture and delivery of solutions across the division. This role requires deep expertise in enterprise-level system design, architecture frameworks, and the ability to lead the end-to-end delivery of solutions that meet business needs.  The individual will work cross-functionally with stakeholders from business units, IT, and third-party vendors to ensure alignment between business strategies and IT roadmaps.

The key responsibilities would be as follows

• Develop & Mature Platforms
  1. Responsible to manage product roadmaps for Platforms
  2. Individual will be responsible for Platform maturity and ensuring that platform teams are aligned towards common organisational goals
• Develop and Maintain Enterprise Architecture:
  1. Define and implement enterprise architecture strategies, ensuring alignment with the organization's overall objectives and Tech roadmap.
  2. Lead the design of scalable, resilient, and secure technology solutions.
  3. Establish architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.) and ensure they are applied across all technology projects.
  4. Ensure alignment between business strategy and IT architecture, driving value through technology.
  5. Oversee architecture governance to ensure compliance with architectural principles and standards.
• Technology Strategy and Roadmap:
  1. Collaborate with business and IT leadership to create multi-year technology strategies and roadmaps.
  2. Assess current technology landscape and develop modernization plans for legacy systems.
  3. Promote cloud-first and hybrid technology strategies where appropriate, ensuring scalability and cost-effectiveness.
• Innovation & Emerging Technology:
  1. Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends (AI, machine learning, blockchain, IoT) and how they can be applied within the enterprise.
  2. Drive innovation and evaluate new tools, processes, and frameworks to enhance business processes and customer experience.
• Resource Management
  1. Build and lead high-performing team of architects, tech leads and delivery specialists.
  2. Develop talent, manage performance, and ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and tools to meet objectives.
  3. Collaborate with HR and recruitment teams to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
• Stakeholder Management:
  1. Engage with business leaders and key stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements and delivery strategies.
  2. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing insights on the implications of architectural and technical decisions.
• Executive Communication:
  1. Present architecture strategies and delivery progress to C-suite executives, ensuring clarity on the benefits, risks, and trade-offs of technology investments.
  2. Provide regular updates on project health, architecture maturity, and strategic initiatives.
