Event Planner / Manager

Location: Hyderabad

Working Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday (Event Days) + Planning Days as required ( monday,tuesday,wednesday)

Role OverviewThe Event Manager at Glasswings is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing premium social events for the Glasswings community. These include curated gatherings, parties, networking events, house parties, pool parties, blind dates, and invite-only experiences.

The role ensures that every event runs smoothly, members feel comfortable, and the Glasswings brand experience remains premium, safe, and enjoyable.

• Key Responsibilities1. Event Planning & CoordinationPlan and coordinate Glasswings events from concept to execution
• Coordinate with venues, vendors, DJs, and event partners
• Ensure venue setup meets Glasswings standards
• Manage guest lists and ticket verification
• 2. Event ExecutionArrive before the event and supervise venue preparation
• Welcome members and guide them through the event
• Ensure smooth entry process and ticket validation
• Monitor crowd interaction and maintain a comfortable environment
• 3. Member ExperienceEnsure all members feel welcomed and comfortable
• Help new members integrate with the community
• Address member concerns during the event
• Maintain the Glasswings culture of respect and inclusivity
• 4. Safety & ComplianceEnsure event rules and policies are followed
• Coordinate with venue staff and security when required
• Handle conflicts or inappropriate behavior calmly and professionally
• Maintain safety over revenue principle
• 5. Billing & AccountabilityEnsure members clear their food and drink bills directly with the venue
• Prevent disputes related to payments
• Maintain transparency with venue staff

6. ReportingSubmit event reports after every event including:

• Total attendees
• Tickets sold
• Membership conversions
• Feedback from members
• Incidents or issues during the event
• Skills RequiredStrong communication skills
• People management ability
• Crisis handling capability
• Event planning skills
• Leadership and decision-making ability
• Social media awareness and networking ability
• QualificationsExperience in event management, hospitality, nightlife, or community events preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Comfortable managing social gatherings and diverse groups
