Position: Fabrication Fitter - ITI Fitter

Qualification: Bachelor's/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related

field

Experience: 3-7 years of experience in fabrication, preferably in bulk material handling systems or

related industries

Preferred Industry: Manufacturing, Industrial

Roles and Responsibilities

• Drawing Interpretation: Read and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and

specifications.

• Marking & Cutting: Accurately mark materials for cutting, drilling, and bending as per

design specifications.

• Fabrication: Assemble, align, and fit metal components to form structures and products

as per drawings.

• Welding Coordination: Supervise welders, ensuring welding is done as per standards

and alignment is maintained.

• Quality Assurance: Inspect and verify fabricated structures against drawings to ensure

precision and compliance with quality standards.

• Tool & Equipment Handling: Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and

vernier calipers to ensure accuracy.

• Material Knowledge: Work with various metals like mild steel, stainless steel, and

alloys, ensuring proper handling and fabrication techniques
