Fabrication Fitter

6-9 years experience required for fitters and 2-6 year for asstt fitters. Candidates must have experience in Manufacturing industry.

1. JD for Sr fitters/fitters;

   · ITI in fitter/Fabrication.

    · 6+ years of experience in boiler fabrication in heavy engineering industry.

    · Proficiency in reading technical drawings and welding symbols.

    · Understanding of boiler components and fabrication standards.

Good engineering practice in fabrication of boilers panels and coils.

Marking of layout and ensuring correct pitch, spacing, and orientation of coils as per drawing.

Safety & Compliance

Adhere to safety protocols including lockout/tagout, PPE usage, and hazard identification.

Comply with site-specific safety regulations

🔹 Coordination & Support

Work closely with fitters, welders, and supervisors to support fabrication and erection activities.

Assist in material handling, loading/unloading, and storage operations.

Participate in toolbox talks and safety briefings.

2. JD for Asst. fitters;

   · ITI in fitter/Fabrication.

    · 3+ years of experience in boiler fabrication in heavy engineering industry.

    · Proficiency in reading technical drawings and welding symbols.

    · Understanding of boiler components and fabrication standards.

Good engineering practice in fabrication of boilers panels and coils.

Marking of layout and ensuring correct pitch, spacing, and orientation of coils as per drawing.

3. Gas Cutter

Department: Fabrication / Cutting

Employment Type: Third-Party Payroll

Reporting To: Cutting Supervisor / Production Foreman

Job Purpose:

To perform manual gas cutting and edge preparation of plates, beams, and fabricated parts as per drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out oxy-acetylene / oxy-LPG gas cutting as per marking layout.

Mark lines using templates, squares, and scribers before cutting.

Ensure dimensional accuracy and minimal wastage of material.

Prepare edges for welding through bevel cutting or gouging.

Maintain cutting torch, regulators, and hoses in safe condition.

Adhere to safety norms while handling cylinders and cutting operations.

Report material utilization and offcuts to supervisor.

Qualifications & Experience:

ITI Gas Cutter / 10th pass with training in gas cutting.

2–4 years’ experience in manual cutting in heavy fabrication setup.

Skills:

Knowledge of flame control, cutting speed, gas ratios, and safety precautions.
