Factory Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Factory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met efficiently while maintaining quality standards, safety compliance, and workforce discipline. The role requires hands-on supervision of shop-floor activities, coordination with multiple departments, and continuous improvement of production processes.

Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day factory operations and shop-floor activities

Ensure production plans and daily targets are achieved

Allocate work to machine operators and production staff

Monitor machine utilisation, downtime, and productivity

Ensure optimal use of manpower, materials, and machinery

Ensure products meet defined quality standards and specifications

Coordinate with the Quality Control team for inspections and corrective actions

Identify defects, root causes, and implement preventive measures

Diploma / ITI / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or related field

2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing or factory environment

Prior experience in supervising shop-floor workers is preferred.
