Fashion Designer

• Design & Product Development: Design new apparel lines based on trends, market research, and brand identity; create sketches, technical drawings, and tech packs.
• Production Management: Work with tailors and manufacturers to ensure high-quality garment construction; oversee sampling and pattern-making.
• Custom & Fitting Services: Meet with clients for consultations, conduct fittings, and take measurements for custom orders.
• Boutique Operations & Inventory: Manage inventory levels of fabrics, accessories, and finished garments; handle opening/closing procedures and POS systems.
• Visual Merchandising: Maintain a visually appealing store display that aligns with brand standards.
• Sales & Marketing: Drive sales through excellent customer service; develop marketing plans, social media campaigns, and oversee photo shoots of new collections.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and train staff, setting performance targets

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in fashion design, custom tailoring, or boutique retail management.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in sketching, pattern-making, garment construction, and CAD software (Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop).
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with clients and suppliers.
• Business Acumen: Ability to manage budgets, analyze trends, and drive profitability
