Fiber Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Handle installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of broadband and fiber connections.

Conduct network testing, signal checks, and fault rectification at customer premises or field sites.

Support Network Operations (NOC) team in resolving connectivity and service issues.

Ensure timely completion of customer installations and service requests.

Maintain proper documentation for every job (installation reports, service tickets, etc.).

Coordinate with backend teams and vendors for issue escalation and resolution.

Conduct regular preventive maintenance to ensure uptime and service quality.

Ensure compliance with Airtel’s safety, quality, and operational standards.

Provide technical assistance to customers during setup and usage.

Achieve assigned KPIs such as service uptime, response time, and customer satisfaction.

Skills & Qualifications:

Qualification: Diploma / ITI / B.Tech (Electronics, Electrical, or related field)

Basic knowledge of networking, routers, and fiber optics.

Good communication and customer-handling skills.

Willingness to work on-field and in shifts if required.
