Field Installation Engineer

Key Responsibilities;

• Install and commission FTTH broadband connections for residential and commercial customers
• Perform fiber pulling, splicing, termination, and testing (ODF, FAT, ONT)
• Configure and troubleshoot ONT, routers, and Wi-Fi devices
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity, speed, and signal-related issues
• Conduct site surveys and ensure proper cable routing and safety compliance
• Coordinate with network and backend teams for issue resolution
• Educate customers on device usage and basic troubleshooting
• Maintain installation reports, job closures, and service documentation
• Adhere to SLA, quality, and safety guidelines
• Required Skills & KnowledgeBasic knowledge of FTTH / Fiber Optic networks
• Understanding of GPON technology
• Fiber splicing, testing, and fault identification
• Router and Wi-Fi configuration
• Basic networking concepts (LAN, WAN, IP)
• Customer handling and communication skills
