Job Description

Job Title: Field Sales Executive – School Books (K–10)

Company: Shubhanga Publications

Location: Assigned Territory / Field Role

Reporting To: Area Sales Manager / State Head


Job Description:

-The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting and selling Shubhanga Publications’ NEP-2020 & NCF-aligned school books (Nursery to Grade 10) to schools in the assigned area.

-The role involves school visits, relationship building with principals and teachers, product demonstrations, sample coordination, and closure of purchase orders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit schools regularly in the assigned territory to promote Shubhanga book series (N–10).
  • Fix appointments with Principals, Academic Coordinators, and Subject Teachers.
  • Present book samples, explain academic features, and demonstrate value to schools.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for specimen delivery, pricing, and order processing.
  • Follow up with schools to convert discussions into Purchase Orders (POs).
  • Maintain accurate records of school visits, leads, and follow-ups in CRM.
  • Support schools with teacher manuals, assessments, and academic resources.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Collect market feedback on competitors, pricing, and curriculum needs.
  • Ensure timely collection of orders and coordination for dispatch.


Candidate Profile:

  • Graduate in any discipline (Education background preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in school book sales / EdTech / educational products.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
  • Basic knowledge of school curriculum, CBSE / State Board / NEP-2020 preferred.
  • Comfortable using CRM, WhatsApp, email, and basic reporting tools.
