Field Service Technician

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our team at Filltronics Automation. The technician will be responsible for the installation, demonstration, servicing, and production support of Filltronics automation machinery, including liquid weight-metric filling,Volumetric filling, Labeling, capping & automatic check checkweighers Bag filling machines and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Machine Installation

• Install and configure Filltronics automation machinery at customer sites.
• Ensure all components are correctly set up and calibrated to meet operational standards.

1. Product Demonstration

• Provide hands-on demonstrations of machinery functionality to customers.
• Explain operational workflows, highlighting key features and benefits.

1. Service and Maintenance Support

• Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of machines.
• Diagnose and repair technical issues efficiently, minimizing downtime.
• Provide troubleshooting guidance over the phone or on-site as required.

1. Production Support

• Assist customers with integrating machines into their production processes.
• Train operators and production teams on machine usage and best practices.
• Monitor and fine-tune machine performance during the initial production runs.

1. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of service visits, installations, and repairs.
• Provide feedback on customer needs and field issues to the internal team for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• ITI/Diploma or degree in Electrical Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Proven experience with automation machinery or filling systems is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites.

Work Environment:

This role involves both in-office coordination and on-site visits to customer facilities, requiring adaptability to varied work settings.
