📌 Job Description: Finance Intern – Bill Verification

Location: Hyderabad (Head Office)

Duration: 3–6 Months

Stipend: Based on organizational norms

📝 Role OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Intern to support the Finance & Accounts team with bill verification, documentation, basic accounting support, and coordination tasks. This role is ideal for students or fresh graduates seeking hands-on experience in NGO finance operations.

  • 📍 Key ResponsibilitiesVerify bills, invoices, travel claims, vendor payments and ensure correctness as per policies.
  • Check supporting documents, approvals, and compliance with Delegation of Authority (DOA).
  • Assist in preparing bill summary sheets and flag discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with employees, vendors, and operations team for missing documents or clarifications.
  • Support the team in updating Tally/Excel trackers (if required).
  • Assist in maintaining systematic document filing—physical & digital.
  • Help the team in preparing payment processing files.
  • Support basic tasks like photocopying, scanning, uploading bills, and organizing finance documents.
  • Contribute to bank/finance admin tasks such as preparing pay-in slips or visiting banks (if needed).
  • 🎓 Eligibility / QualificationsB.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) student or recent graduate.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Good understanding of MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Familiarity with Tally is an added advantage (not mandatory).
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
