Job Description for senior fitters/fitters/Assistant Fitters
Qualification - ITI in fitter/fabrication
- 2-11+ years of experience in boiler fabrication in the heavy engineering industry.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and welding symbols.
- Understanding of boiler components and fabrication standards.
- Good engineering practice in the fabrication of boiler panels and coils.
- The process involves marking the layout and ensuring that the pitch, spacing, and orientation of the coils align with the drawing.
- Marking of layout and ensuring correct pitch, spacing, and orientation of coils as per drawing.
Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to safety protocols, including lockout/tagout, PPE usage, and hazard identification.
- Comply with site-specific safety regulations
🔹 Coordination & Support
- Work closely with fitters, welders, and supervisors to support fabrication and erection activities.
- Assist in material handling, loading/unloading, and storage operations.
- Participate in toolbox talks and safety briefings.
