Floor Supervisor

Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced CNC Machining Supervisor with strong hands-on and supervisory expertise in Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) and precision mould making. The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day CNC operations, ensure high-quality output, optimize machining processes, and lead a team of operators to meet production and quality targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage CNC machining operations, primarily on Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs)
• Plan, schedule, and monitor daily production activities to meet delivery timelines
• Ensure machining accuracy and adherence to tight tolerances required for precision moulds
• Review CNC programs, setups, tooling, and fixtures to improve productivity and reduce cycle time
• Coordinate with programming, quality, and design teams to resolve machining issues
• Conduct first-off approvals and ensure consistent quality throughout production
• Monitor machine utilization, tool life, and preventive maintenance schedules
• Train, guide, and evaluate CNC operators and machinists
• Enforce safety standards, shop-floor discipline, and best manufacturing practices
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in machining efficiency and quality

Required Qualifications & Experience

• B.Tech / B.E. (Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing or related field) – Mandatory
• 5–10 years of experience in CNC machining within precision mould making
• Strong experience with Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs)
• In-depth knowledge of:
• CNC machining processes
• Precision mould components
• GD&T, drawings, and tight tolerances
• Cutting tools, fixtures, and materials

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to high-precision industries such as moulds, dies, tooling, or automotive components
• Ability to troubleshoot machining and tooling issues independently
• Strong communication and team-handling skills
• Quality-focused mindset with attention to detail
• Familiarity with ISO / quality systems (added advantage)
