Foreign Trade & Policy Compliance Executive

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Draft and prepare internal guidelines and implementation frameworks aligned with newly announced Government policies.
• Analyze Government notifications, circulars, and amendments and translate them into actionable business processes.
• Make representations on behalf of trade and industry bodies for policy clarifications, amendments, or advocacy initiatives.
• Identify and generate new business opportunities emerging from Government policy changes and regulatory reforms.
• Conduct impact assessments of policy revisions on trade, industry, taxation, and compliance frameworks.
• Deliver training sessions and workshops to employees on policy updates, regulatory compliance, and procedural changes.
• Monitor ongoing regulatory developments in areas such as Foreign Trade, Industrial Subsidies, GST, Customs, and allied laws.
• Prepare analytical reports, policy briefs, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Government departments, industry associations, and regulatory bodies when required.

Required Skills / Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong comprehension and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Logical reasoning and policy interpretation capability.
• Strong presentation and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to convert complex regulatory language into practical business guidelines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Fluency in English, Hindi and local language.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple policy updates simultaneously.

Education & Experience:

• CA (Discontinued), CS (Discontinued), Semi-Qualified CS, MBA, LLB, or equivalent professional qualification.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in policy research, regulatory advisory, taxation, or compliance-related roles.
• Experience in handling trade, taxation, customs, or industrial policy matters will be preferred.
