What would you do? "The Associate Director – Marketing Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for driving large-scale marketing operations delivery, client value realization, and team leadership across complex, global engagements. This role partners closely with client executives, Accenture leadership, and cross-functional teams to translate marketing strategy into scalable, efficient, and high-performing operations. You will own delivery excellence, talent strategy, operational innovation, and commercial outcomes while shaping the future of marketing operations for leading global brands. In a Marketing Operations job profile, responsibilities include managing and optimizing marketing processes and systems. This involves tasks such as campaign execution, data analysis, and budget management. The goal is to improve marketing efficiency and effectiveness. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of marketing technologies. What are we looking for? "Experience • 12–15+ years of experience in marketing operations, digital marketing, consulting, or agency environments • Proven experience leading large, complex, global marketing operations programs • Strong track record of senior client relationship management Functional & Technical Expertise • Deep understanding of marketing operations models and managed services delivery • Experience with MarTech ecosystems (e.g., Adobe, Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot, Google Marketing Platform) • Strong knowledge of campaign operations, content supply chains, CRM, and performance analytics • Experience driving large-scale marketing transformation initiatives Leadership & Soft Skills • Executive-level communication and stakeholder influence • Strong people leadership and organizational management skills • Strategic thinker with commercial and operational acumen • Ability to lead in fast-paced, matrixed, global environments Preferred Qualifications • MBA or equivalent advanced degree • Consulting background within large professional services organizations • Experience with Agile marketing, automation, or AI-driven marketing operations "
Roles and Responsibilities: "•This role requires proactive identification, definition and solving of complex problems that have impact on the direction of the business or work effort, where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of Accenture • It requires development and execution of strategy to achieve key business objectives in area of responsibility • Interaction is with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, involving negotiation or influencing on critical matters • Individual should have wide latitude in decision making and determination of objectives and approaches to critical assignments • Decisions have a major and lasting impact on areas outside of own responsibility • Individual manages large complex teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture • Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts •Client Leadership & Strategic Partnership • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders (VP, CMO, and Marketing Leadership) • Translate client marketing vision and business objectives into operational roadmaps • Lead executive governance, QBRs, and strategic planning discussions Marketing Operations Excellence • Oversee end-to-end marketing operations across campaign management, content, digital, CRM, analytics, and MarTech • Drive operational maturity, standardization, and scalability across accounts • Ensure consistent delivery against SLAs, KPIs, and business outcomes People & Capability Leadership • Lead and develop multi-layered teams across geographies (onshore/offshore) Team size of 500 and more. • Build high-performance culture focused on innovation, accountability, and growth • Drive capability development, succession planning, and talent retention Transformation & Innovation • Lead marketing operations transformation initiatives including automation, AI, and MarTech optimization • Identify and scale best practices, accelerators, and reusable assets • Champion continuous improvement through Agile, Lean, and data-driven approaches Commercial & Financial Management • Own account financials including budgeting, forecasting, margin management, and resource planning • Support new business development, solutioning, and RFP responses • Identify and execute growth opportunities within existing client accounts Governance, Risk & Compliance • Ensure compliance with brand, legal, privacy, and data governance standards • Proactively manage delivery risks and dependencies • Maintain strong operational governance across complex stakeholder ecosystems "
