Job Overview:

We are looking for a furniture assembly/carpenter with experience in the furniture industry to join our field service team. The candidate will travel from store locations to customers’ homes to assemble and disassemble 5 to 6 furniture items daily. The role requires excellent technical skills, customer service, and the ability to work independently. Candidates must have a bike and mobile phone to facilitate efficient travel and communication. The company will provide all necessary tools and compensation of Rs. 4/km will be given for travel from the store to each customer’s home.

• Key Responsibilities: Travel daily from store locations to customers' homes using a personal bike to assemble and disassemble various furniture items such as beds, wardrobes, tables, and cabinets.
• Complete 5 to 6 furniture assembly or disassembly tasks each day, ensuring timely and quality service.
• Read and interpret assembly instructions, product manuals, and blueprints accurately to complete tasks.
• Use hand and power tools (e.g., drills, wrenches, screwdrivers) to efficiently assemble and disassemble furniture.
• Ensure all furniture items are properly assembled, functioning, and meet company quality standards.
• Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner, explaining the assembly process and addressing any concerns.
• Ensure furniture is handled with care, avoiding damage during assembly or disassembly.
• Report any product issues, defects, or customer feedback to the operations team.
• Maintain your tools and ensure they are in good working condition at all times.
• Use a mobile phone to coordinate with the operations team and communicate with customers as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment in customers' homes.
• Record and report kilometres travelled for reimbursement as per company policy (Rs. 4/KM).
