The roles and responsibilities of a showroom hostess in a tile showroom focus on providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and supporting the sales team. 

Core Roles and Responsibilities

• Customer Service:
• Greet all walk-in customers with a warm and professional demeanor, creating a positive first impression of the brand.
• Escort and seat clients, and offer refreshments like tea or coffee.
• Understand customer needs and preferences regarding tiles, sanitaryware, and interior design.
• Provide detailed product information, explaining features, benefits, designs, sizes, and applications.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns (e.g., product defects, delivery delays) promptly and professionally, ensuring a satisfying experience.
• Sales and Support:
• Assist customers in selecting suitable products based on their style, budget, and usage needs.
• Prepare quotations, price offers, and product presentations.
• Coordinate with the sales, inventory, and dispatch teams regarding order status, stock availability, and deliveries.
• Record customer details, inquiries, and sales orders in the showroom's CRM or ERP system.
• Conduct follow-ups with customers, architects, and interior designers to build and maintain relationships.
• Showroom Operations & Administration:
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom environment and ensure all displays are updated and well-presented.
• Manage front-office operations, including answering phone calls and emails.
• Provide catalogues, brochures, and specification cards to customers.
• Assist in organizing promotional activities, events, or exhibitions.
• Stay updated on new product lines, industry trends, and competitor offerings. 

Essential Skills

• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, CRM/ERP systems).
