Job Description



🍞 1. Recruitment & Staffing

  • Hire retail staff: bakers, helpers, cashiers, sales executives, delivery staff
  • Coordinate walk-in interviews and local hiring drives
  • Manage onboarding and documentation for new employees
  • Ensure proper staffing across all bakery outlets/shifts



πŸ‘₯ 2. Employee Onboarding & Training

  • Conduct induction programs for new hires
  • Train employees on:
  • Customer service standards
  • Hygiene & food safety practices
  • POS (billing systems)
  • Coordinate skill development for bakers and kitchen staff



🧾 3. Payroll & Attendance Management

  • Track employee attendance (shift-based work)
  • Handle salary processing, overtime, and incentives
  • Maintain leave records (weekly offs, holidays, sick leave)
  • Ensure compliance with minimum wages and labor laws



βš–οΈ 4. Compliance & Labor Law Management

  • Ensure compliance with:
  • Shops & Establishment Act
  • PF (Provident Fund) & ESI regulations
  • Food safety norms (coordination with operations)
  • Maintain employee records and statutory registers

  • Address employee grievances (shift issues, salary concerns, conflicts)
  • Maintain a positive work environment in outlets and kitchen
  • Handle disciplinary actions when required
  • Reduce attrition by engaging staff

  • Monitor staff performance (sales staff, bakers, supervisors)
  • Assist in setting KPIs like:
  • Sales targets
  • Customer satisfaction

  • Conduct appraisals and feedback sessions

  • Coordinate with store managers for manpower planning
  • Ensure proper shift scheduling (morning/evening/night baking)

  • Ensure employees follow hygiene standards (critical in bakery)
  • Conduct periodic checks on grooming and cleanliness
  • Support implementation of food safety standards (FSSAI guidelines)
