Job Description

Job Summary:The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Human Resource practices and processes in the manufacturing unit. The role involves managing recruitment, employee relations, statutory compliance, performance management, training & development, and ensuring alignment of HR policies with organizational goals.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment & Staffing

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for factory and office staff.
  • Ensure manpower planning and timely hiring as per production requirements.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Handle employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary actions.
  • Build positive workplace culture and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Compliance & Labor Laws

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, factory act, ESI, PF, gratuity, and other statutory regulations.
  • Liaise with government authorities during inspections and audits.
  • Performance Management

  • Implement and monitor appraisal systems.
  • Develop performance improvement plans and reward programs.
  • Training & Development

  • Identify skill gaps and arrange training programs for workers and staff.
  • Conduct safety training, compliance workshops, and leadership development sessions.
  • Payroll & Attendance

  • Oversee payroll processing, leave management, and attendance systems.
  • Ensure accuracy in salary, incentives, and deductions.
  • Health, Safety & Welfare

  • Monitor employee health & safety programs at the plant.
  • Ensure workplace safety and welfare measures are in place.

  • Qualifications & Skills:MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent.
  • 5–10 years of HR experience (preferably in manufacturing/industrial sector).
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliances.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage large workforce and maintain discipline in plant operations.
