IBM Content Manager Lead

IBM FileNet, IBM Content Navigator, Web services (REST/SOAP), SQL, Linux/Unix Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain solutions using IBM Content Manager aligned to enterprise content management requirements. • Implement content models, document classes, metadata strategies, access controls, and retention concepts to meet business and compliance needs. • Develop and enhance integrations between IBM Content Manager and upstream/downstream applications using appropriate APIs and connectors. • Perform requirement analysis, prepare technical designs, and estimate development effort for ECM initiatives. • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes with minimal business disruption. • Optimize system performance through tuning, indexing strategies, and efficient query/content retrieval patterns. • Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational runbooks. • Collaborate with QA and business teams to define test scenarios, support UAT, and ensure high-quality releases. • Support release management activities including build packaging, deployment coordination, and post-release validation. Minimum Qualifications: • B.Tech or equivalent bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • 5–9 years of overall experience with strong hands-on development experience in IBM Content Manager. • Solid understanding of ECM concepts including content lifecycle, metadata, security, and governance. • Experience in troubleshooting, debugging, and supporting enterprise applications in production environments. • Strong communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience designing end-to-end ECM solutions including content modeling, integration patterns, and operational support processes. • Exposure to IBM Content Manager administration concepts, environment configuration, and performance tuning practices. • Experience working in Agile delivery models with strong ownership of sprint commitments and deliverables. • Proven ability to lead technical discussions, review designs/code, and mentor team members on IBM Content Manager best practices. • Familiarity with enterprise security practices (role-based access, auditing) and documentation standards for regulated environments.
