Import Manager – Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end import process and documentation.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents.
- Ensure timely shipment clearance and compliance with customs/DGFT rules.
- Prepare import cost sheets, duty calculations, and MIS reports.
- Track shipment status and avoid demurrage/detention.
- Maintain accurate import records and support accounts for duty payments.
Requirements:
- Graduate (MBA/International Business preferred).
- 6+ years of experience in import operations.
- Good knowledge of customs rules, DGFT, Incoterms, and logistics.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
