Industrial Automation Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Service Engineer to support installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial automation products and systems. The candidate should be proactive, customer-focused, and capable of handling site responsibilities independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and commissioning of automation products (Sensors, PLCs, HMIs, Drives, etc.)
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues at customer sites
• Providing on-site and remote technical support to customers
• Conducting preventive and corrective maintenance
• Coordinating with internal teams for project execution and service activities
• Preparing service reports and documentation after site visits
• Supporting customers with product selection and application guidance
• Ensuring timely response and closure of service calls
• Maintaining good customer relationships

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field
• 1–4 years of experience in industrial automation/service role
• Basic knowledge of PLC, sensors, and control systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel frequently for site visits

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with brands like Omron, Siemens, Delta, etc.
• Knowledge of panel wiring and industrial safety standards
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
