Business Development Manager from Interior Background

Identify and develop new business opportunities in residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality interior projects.

Generate leads through networking, referrals, site visits, and industry contacts.

Develop strategic partnerships with architects, builders, real estate developers, and consultants.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

Understand client requirements and coordinate with the design team to provide tailored interior solutions.

Conduct client meetings, presentations, and project discussions.

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and presentations.

Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients.

Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer preferences.

Identify new market segments and opportunities in interior projects.

Work closely with design, project management, and procurement teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Ensure client expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Maintain a pipeline of leads and update CRM systems.

Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and forecasts.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience: 3–7 years of experience in business development or sales in interior design / fit-out industry.

Strong network with architects, contractors, developers, and corporate clients.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to understand design concepts, materials, and project costing.

Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of CRM tools is a plus.
