Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our on-site construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating design concepts into detailed shop drawings and ensuring that interior design elements are executed precisely as per the approved design intent. This role requires strong technical knowledge, on-site coordination skills, and proficiency in advanced design software, including AI-assisted tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and finalize detailed shop drawings based on conceptual designs and architectural layouts.
• Work closely with architects, contractors, carpenters, and vendors to ensure design execution matches intent in every phase of construction.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor interior works, identify discrepancies, and provide real-time design solutions.
• Prepare mood boards, material specifications, and BOQs as needed.
• Ensure compliance with design quality, materials, and aesthetic standards.
• Use advanced design and visualization tools, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, and AI-based platforms like Midjourney, DALL·E, or Stable Diffusion for concept presentations.
• Coordinate with MEP and civil teams to integrate services with interior design seamlessly.
• Maintain thorough documentation of design revisions, approvals, and site communications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 5 years of experience, including at least 2 years in on-site execution roles.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, and AI-based design tools.
• Strong understanding of materials, lighting, furniture, finishes, and construction techniques.
• Ability to lead site coordination meetings, resolve issues independently, and manage timelines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with luxury residential or commercial interior projects.
• Familiarity with local building codes and material sourcing.
• Hands-on experience with digital rendering and AI-assisted visualization.
